Road Closure – B3253 Widegates to St Martin
The closure on the B3253 is by Cormac for resurfacing works with the closure scheduled for weekdays only between 0930 and 1600 from the 13 to the 24 November.
The Transport Coordination Service did approach Cormac enquiring if any access between these hours could be maintained for local bus services. Due to the nature of the works this was not possible, however thy have agreed to maintain access for the Looe school departures in the afternoon, so these will operate their normal route, although there might be delays while they make their way through the closure area.
Go-Cornwall Buses, who operate the 10 and 73 services, are aware of this closure and have advised us of the diversions that they will be following. It looks as though that they have not yet made this available on their service updates page on their web site and app, we have contacted them asking that the information is put up urgently.

13 to 24 November 2023
Due to resurfacing works there will be road closures on the B3253 between 0930 and 1600 on weekdays only between the 13 and 24 November. During the closure hours buses will divert as follows:
Go-Cornwall Service 10 will divert via Widegates, Morval and Sandplace and will be unable to serve No Man’s Land and Barbican.
Go-Cornwall Service 73 will follow the 73A route and will be unable to serve Widegates and No Man’s Land.
School buses in the afternoon from Looe School will be allowed through the closure and will operate their usual route, although there may be delays.
